How to add Dropr to the thank you and order status pages

Before you start

• Your store is on the Basic Shopify plan or higher.
• These pages are edited in Shopify's checkout and accounts editor, not in the theme editor.
• Shopify allows up to 3 apps in each area of these pages.
• Dropr's Home page lists Where Dropr shows up once Dropr is live on your store. Before that, open the editor from Shopify settings.

Add Dropr to the thank you page

1. In your Shopify admin, open Apps, then Dropr. Dropr opens on its Home page.
2. Under Where Dropr shows up, find the Thank you page row, called You might also like, and click Add. Shopify's checkout and accounts editor opens on the Thank you page with the Apps list open.
3. Next to Dropr checkout recommendations, click +, then pick Thank you.

4. Optional: Click the block and type a Heading. Leave it empty to use the heading from Dropr.
5. Click Save.

Add Dropr to the order status page

Repeat the same steps with the Order status page row, called Goes well with your order. The editor opens on the Order status page. Add Dropr checkout recommendations there and click Save.

Open the editor from Shopify settings instead

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Checkout.
2. In Configurations, click Edit next to your checkout configuration.
3. In the page selector, pick Thank you or Order status.
4. Click Add block in the section you want, then pick Dropr checkout recommendations.
5. Click Save.

What shoppers see

• On the thank you page, a short list of products that go with what they bought, under the heading You might also like.
• On the order status page, the same kind of list under Goes well with your order.
• Each product has an Add to cart button. The order is already placed, so the button opens your store's cart with the product in it, ready for a new order.

These pages use your checkout's own style from Shopify, so they look like the rest of your checkout.

Check it worked

Back in Dropr, the row gets a check mark under Where Dropr shows up once the page has loaded Dropr. To see it as a shopper does, place a test order on your store.

If it doesn't work

• If you don't see Dropr checkout recommendations in the Apps list, reload the editor. If it's still missing, email support@heydropr.com.
• If the block shows nothing for an order, the products in that order have no recommendations yet. Dropr hides the block instead of showing an empty box.
