Terms of Service
Overview and acceptance
Last updated: June 20, 2026. These Terms govern your use of the Dropr app and the heydropr.com website. Dropr ("Dropr", "we", "us") is operated by an independent software developer based in Mexico. By installing, accessing, or using Dropr, or by approving Dropr's charges in Shopify, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your store.
Eligibility
You must be a business or an authorized representative of one, at least 18 years old, and authorized to install apps, grant Shopify permissions, and approve charges for your store.
What Dropr does
Dropr helps merchants create AI-assisted product-page cross-sell and upsell widgets that render on the storefront through a Shopify Theme App Extension. Dropr is an evolving product and features may change. We do not guarantee any particular increase in revenue, conversions, or other results.
Your relationship with Shopify
Shopify provides the platform, OAuth, app distribution, and billing. Dropr, not Shopify, is responsible for the app and its support. Your use of Shopify remains governed by Shopify's own terms.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Dropr for a Shopify store you control during an active subscription or trial. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to bypass the limits of the service.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your store, theme compatibility, the accuracy of your product data, reviewing recommendations and widget configuration before publishing, and the notices and consents shown to your own shoppers. You will not submit sensitive or protected customer data to Dropr unless a feature expressly supports it and the required approvals are in place.
Acceptable use
You will not use Dropr unlawfully or to infringe rights, transmit malware, scrape or overload the service, access other merchants' data, or make automated decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Shopify data and your content
You authorize Dropr to access the Shopify data needed to provide the service. We use that data only to provide, secure, support, and improve Dropr as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your store data to train, fine-tune, or improve third-party AI models except as permitted by Shopify and with the consent required for your store.
You retain ownership of your products and content. We retain ownership of the Dropr software, interfaces, models, prompts, and configurations we create.
AI features and outputs
Dropr's recommendations, bundles, and brand styling are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and how they appear in your storefront. AI outputs are provided without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
Fees, free trial, and cancellation
Dropr is billed entirely through the Shopify Billing API on a flat monthly plan (currently $19 per month) with a 14-day free trial. We do not charge a percentage of your revenue. Charges, taxes, and cancellations are handled through Shopify. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling Dropr from your Shopify admin; Shopify stops billing according to its billing rules. Except where required by law or Shopify policy, fees are non-refundable.
Availability and changes
Dropr is provided without a service-level commitment at this stage. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Maintenance, third-party outages, Shopify or API changes, and theme conflicts may affect availability.
Data protection
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a Data Processing Agreement is available on request to merchants who need one.
Intellectual property
All rights in the Dropr software, design, documentation, and brand belong to us. If you send feedback, you grant us a license to use it without restriction or obligation.
Disclaimers
Dropr is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every theme or app.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dropr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid for Dropr in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Dropr against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your failure to provide the storefront notices and consents required for your shoppers.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, abuse, legal risk, or breach. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling Dropr. On termination, your access ends, the widget stops rendering, and we begin deleting your store data within 30 days. Payment obligations incurred before termination survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Mexico will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local law gives you a different forum.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will change the date above when we do. Your continued use of Dropr after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any Shopify billing approval, are the entire agreement between you and Dropr. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor. Neither party is liable for events beyond its reasonable control.
