How to add Dropr to checkout on Shopify Plus

Before you start

• Your store is on Shopify Plus. Apps can add to the information, shipping and payment steps of checkout only on Shopify Plus.
• Not on Plus? You can still show recommendations once the shopper has paid. See the thank you and order status pages.
• Shopify allows up to 3 apps in each area of checkout.

Add Dropr to checkout

1. In your Shopify admin, open Apps, then Dropr. Dropr opens on its Home page.
2. Under Where Dropr shows up, find the Checkout row, called Add to your order, and click Add. Shopify's checkout and accounts editor opens with the Apps list open.
3. Next to Dropr checkout recommendations, click +, then pick the checkout page. Shopify only offers the areas that accept apps.
4. Optional: Click the block and type a Heading. Leave it empty to use the heading from Dropr.
5. Click Save.

Home lists the checkout row only for stores that can use it: Shopify Plus stores and development stores. To start from Shopify instead, go to Settings > Checkout, click Edit next to your checkout configuration, then click Add block in a checkout section and pick Dropr checkout recommendations.

What shoppers see

A short list of products that go with what's in the order, under Add to your order. Each product has an Add button that puts it in the order without leaving checkout. Dropr leaves out products already in the order and products that are sold out.

The block uses your checkout's own style from Shopify, so it looks like the rest of your checkout.

Check it worked

Back in Dropr, the checkout row gets a check mark under Where Dropr shows up once checkout has loaded Dropr. To see it as a shopper does, add a product to your cart and go to checkout.

If it doesn't work

• If Shopify won't let you place the block in checkout, your store isn't on Shopify Plus. Use the thank you and order status pages instead.
• If the block shows nothing, the products in the cart have no recommendations yet, or checkout doesn't allow adding products to that order. Dropr hides the block instead of showing an empty box.
